Naval Weapons Station Earle

Dennis Blazak

Naval Weapons Station Earle has been a part of the Colts Neck community since 1943. The mission remains the same today as at the peak of WW2, the rapid, safe loading of ordnance onto ships for use by the Nation's armed forces both afloat and deployed overseas. Earle covers about 4700 acres of Colts Neck and is almost 12,000 acres in total. A three mile long ammunition loading pier complex, worth $250M, allows ships to rapidly round Sandy Hook and sail into the Atlantic.
